Surpass Your “Upper Limit Problem” and Create Being

I call myself a coach for a handful of reasons. I have been trained in Ontological coaching, I have coached person after person in transforming their lives, and I even founded my own Ontological and High-Performance coaching consultancy, PURECOACH.

But to have a job title and my own business doesn’t automatically denote success, nor satisfaction.

We all have the opportunity to be many things in this world, but unless we are working in alignment with our most authentic dreams and goals, a job title and a business license isn’t going to be enough.

Anybody who's ever been in business knows what I'm talking about. There are these looming imaginary lines that feel almost impossible to cross. Gay Hendricks in “The Big Leap” refers to this as an Upper Limit Problem.

You are the living manifestation of all the beliefs that you have about yourself and the world around you.

You stand just before your Upper Limit embodying exactly who you are in this moment. All of the accumulation of action and progress you have made up until this point. You are the living manifestation of all the beliefs that you have about yourself and the world around you.

But from the other side of the Upper Limit, you can hear a calling. A call to action, asking you to be more than your beliefs, to do more than you think possible of yourself. It is precisely this action that is what will break you through the threshold of these imaginary limits.

It’s like when you play a video game. You work so hard to get to that next level, to feel that sense of achievement, yet come to find that there’s a whole other demon or monster to face at the next one. This time it’s even more challenging, as it asks you to work in a different way than you had before in order to cross over to the next threshold.

What would life be like without these challenges though?

Being asked to work in a different way than what you already know yourself to be capable of can feel very daunting… but it is also the key to maintaining alignment with your goals and dreams. And it is precisely these invisible upper limits that give us the chance to embody a real sense of satisfaction and success in our lives.

“Leap, and the net will appear”

There’s the kind of being that is the embodiment of that which you already are, and then there’s the being of that which you strive to be.

Many times this surpassing of upper limits can feel like they happened out of nowhere, right under your nose. You have this looming desire to achieve something, and then one day you wake up and realize that you are on the other side of that imaginary line of “being”. Embodying that which you had imagined or desired for yourself.

When this happens, you know you are experiencing the flow of life. You are walking through the doors for which the universe has provided for you. You are doing the work by following your intuition and taking thoughtful (and perhaps seemingly “risky”) action.

What many people don’t want to understand is that you will never be able to make progress, to walk through these open doors, from the safety of your comfort zone.

Crossing these imaginary lines are not always easy, but they are always worth it.

And you don’t have to cross these thresholds alone.

This is where I come in, it is where our two roads converge in this life. In living the embodiment of what I strive to be, I provide you with the tools, perspective, and accountability you need to surpass your own Upper Limits.

We work on declaring yourself, and taking action from there.

So who am I?

Well, I am relaxed. I’m curious and interested. I’m improving my technique. I'm serving, I'm supporting. I'm in full service to my clients in the way that they need. I'm joyful. I'm abundant. I have an abundance mindset. I'm in the flow of life. I'm vital. I'm in relationship. I'm connecting. I'm in love. I am love. I'm functional, I'm healed.

I am all these things, yet I know that each day I have the opportunity to become more.

Challenge yourself to create a new sense of being with me.

Let’s cross these limits so that you too are able to embody the flow of life.
